Location

RiverWood Studios is located on 120 acres only 25 miles south of Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport. Our semi-rural location allows us to offer not only modern film and commercial production facilities, but back lot areas and features to give a project versatility with low outside sound interference.

These back lot locations feature railroad tracks and trestles, forest and field locations, flood plain areas and large creeks for controlled floods, a six-acre shooting lake, and many other shooting areas that can be modified according to your production needs.

Local Area

Nestled among small southern towns and communities, productions are presented with a full flavor of shooting locations to choose from. North central Georgia has some of the finest scene locations available anywhere, some of which have been used in such films as "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Driving Miss Daisy", "Pet Sematary Two", "Andersonville", and "The War".

Directions to RiverWood Studios

From downtown Atlanta or from the Atlanta / Hartsfield airport, take Interstate 85 south to Exit 61 (the Fairburn / Peachtree City, Highway 74 exit). Turn left off the exit onto Highway 74 toward Peachtree City. Stay on Highway 74 until it dead ends into Highway 85 (approx. 18 miles).

Turn right onto Highway 85 and go 3 miles until you reach Highway 16. Turn left onto Highway 16.

Drive 300 feet and turn left onto Chestlehurst Road. Follow Chestlehurst Road until you reach the RiverWood Studios facility
